The first photo was taken in front of the CIEMAS building in the morning when I just arrived at work. The second photo shows my desk and the amazing view outside the window, the Duke Chapel (the land mark building of Duke campus). This office is located in the faculty office area, and it used to be a faculty office. I don’t know why we are so lucky to have this office. My office mates are Marcello and Po-An, both are Ph.D. students in the Arya group.
This is my first day of work as a postdoctoral researcher at Duke University in Professor Arya’s group, which is also my first day of work in my whole life (not as a student). I am excited about this new phase of my life and my academic journey. I will work hard and try to learn as much as I can in these following years.
